Swiss Arc Award 2025

Patrick Suter, Managing Director of ERNE AG Holzbau, presented Herzog & de Meuron with the award for the winning project in the "Education and Health" category on behalf of the ERNE Group.

One pillar of our mission is to create added value for our society across generations, which is particularly evident in the construction of schools and hospitals. We are therefore delighted that the Herzog and de Meuron team was able to impress the high-caliber expert jury with the new building for the University Children's Hospital Zurich, which impressively combines functionality and spatial qualities.

On October 30, the best buildings in the country were honored with the Swiss Arc Award for the twelfth time in Baden. From 418 submissions, the expert jury selected outstanding works that exemplify quality and innovation in the Swiss architecture scene.
